LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — One local neighbor is turning flowers into a mission of kindness.
In the Woods Park Neighborhood sits a table of fresh flowers with an unusual price tag.
No cash, no credit cards, just one good deed.
Christopher Gorman and his wife started the mission of positivity this year.
With everything going on, they feel it’s important to give back.
“I just put them out on the front door step and said ‘hey make your own bouquet’,” he said. “We had some recycled water bottles that we were able to use for folks to make their own bouquet. We put a little sign up that said $1,000 for a bouquet or say something nice about yourself. We have to get rid of these flowers anyway, and there’s a lot of stuff going on in the world right now so we figured this is a nice, easy way to sp
