Crews from the Signal Mountain Fire Department are in the midst of a rescue operation from the trails near the popular Rainbow Lake. Walden’s Ridge Emergency Services is assisting in the effort.

The person being rescued is said to be injured.

Signal Mountain FD also advises that the area around the area around Ohio Avenue is very congested, and ask that people to avoid the area.

Mutual aid companies from off the mountain are responding to cover calls on the mountain.
