OTTAWA COUNTY, Mich. — A Georgetown Township house is significantly damaged after a crash on Sunday afternoon, according to the Ottawa County Sheriff's Office (OCSO).
Deputies said around 4:50 p.m., they were dispatched to a report of a crash involving a vehicle and a house in the 8000 block of Green Meadow Ct.
An investigation at the scene revealed that a Chevy Suburban, driven by a 39-year-old Hudsonville man, had arrived in the parking lot and was backing into a parking spot when he accelerated and backed into the residence, causing significant damage to it.
Deputies said the driver and his two passengers, a 7-year-old boy and an 8-year-old boy, weren't hurt in the crash.
OCSO said the crash is under investigation.
