The death of a man whose body was pulled from Lake Michigan early Saturday morning was ruled a homicide, the Cook County Medical Examiner's office said.
Chicago Fire Department crews recovered the individual's body from the lake near Monroe Harbor at around 3 a.m. Saturday. The medical examiner said the man was 63 years old but hasn't released his identity.
His cause of death was determined to be drowning, authorities said.
Area Three detectives were conducting an investigation.
