A man is assisting police after a car drove onto the grounds of the Consulate General of Russia in Sydney's eastern suburbs.
Police confirmed that at about 8am, officers were called to a premises in Fullerton Street, Woollahra, after reports an unauthorised vehicle was parked in the driveway.
Police tried to speak to the driver, however, he allegedly drove his car into the gates of the property.
A 39-year-old man was arrested and is assisting police with inquiries.
A 24-year-old police constable suffered a hand injury and was treated by NSW paramedics.
There were no other reports of injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
