SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) -
Today : We have a stationary front that is sitting just to our north once again today that is giving us another set up very similar to last week with off and on showers and storms. A 30% chance of rain is expected tonight with low temperatures sticking in the upper 70s.
Labor Day : We expect the showers to stick around tomorrow as well for Labor Day with a 60% chance of rain. High temperatures are forecast to be in the upper 80s. The heat index will be in the mid 90s brought on by dew points in the 70s.
Short Term/Long Term : By the end of the workweek, the front finally dips to our south allowing for some slightly drier air to enter into SWFL, this will feel like quite the nice treat after a humid few days.
