NORTH HAMPTON — Police are investigating a serious motor vehicle crash that occurred on Interstate 95 Southbound, which sent six to the hospital.
North Hampton Fire & Rescue responded to the crash at 5:08 p.m. Initial reports indicated that a vehicle traveling northbound had crossed the median and struck a southbound pickup truck, forcing the pickup into the woods.
"A total of six patients were transported to area hospitals in ambulances from North Hampton, Portsmouth, Rye and Seabrook," North Hampton Fire & Rescue stated in a press release.
Two patients, according to North Hampton Fire & Rescue, required extrication from their vehicles before being transported to the hospital.
