MADISON, Wis. (WOWT) - The No. 12 Creighton volleyball team gave first-year head coach Brian Rosen his first victory Sunday, rallying past No. 14 Kansas in five sets at the Opening Spike Classic.

The Bluejays (1-2) prevailed 25-17, 25-21, 21-25, 25-27, 15-12 before 11,678 fans — the largest neutral-site crowd in program history.

Senior outside hitter Ava Martin paced CU with 18 kills, nine digs and two aces, extending her streak of matches with at least five kills to 80.

Junior outside hitter Destiny Ndam-Simpson added 13 kills and eight digs, while senior middle blocker Kiara Reinhardt chipped in 11 kills on .364 hitting — her highest total since 2022.

Junior middle blocker Eloise Brandewie was dominant at the net with nine kills and a career-best nine blocks.
