A “much-loved” boy died after falling off playground equipment at a park near his home.

Logan Carter, 12, died following an incident at the Wharton Recreation Ground in Winsford, a town in Cheshire, England, on Friday, Aug. 29, around 6:11 p.m. local time, per a press release issued by the Cheshire Constabulary.

Logan was injured after falling from a park apparatus, the BBC and The Independent reported.
