Hello there! The heat is here to stay, and a hot Labor Day is just the start of a very warm week ahead.

For your Labor Day Monday, expect highs in the mid-90s with light winds across the region. Partly cloudy skies will mix with lingering haze, making for a sizzling holiday forecast.

The Spokane region is under a Heat Advisory through Thursday evening, and record temperatures are in play. Tuesday’s forecast is set to break the old record, while Wednesday and Thursday could tie long-standing marks from 1988.

Temperatures will stay in the 90s all week—upper to mid-90s through Thursday, sliding into the low 90s Friday and Saturday, before finally cooling into the 80s by Sunday.

Stay cool and enjoy your holiday!
