BUFFALO, N.Y. — The Buffalo Fire Department battled a fire on Sunday night.
Firefighters were called to 333 Grote Street just before 9pm for a report of a structure fire.
Investigators say the fire started on the first floor and quickly spread to the second floor and attic.
Damages are estimated at $225,000. The American Red Cross is assisting four adults and two children.
The home next door at 325 Grote Street suffered $15,000 in exposure damage.
No one was injured in the fire. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
