Harry Redknapp fronts new campaign after wife Sandra's illness

Former Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp has launched a sepsis awareness campaign after his wife Sandra survived the condition. The 78-year-old former I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! winner is fronting the It’s Game On For Sepsis campaign for the UK Sepsis Trust, after his wife was treated in hospital in 2018.

Redknapp said: “In 2018, my wife Sandra developed sepsis from a kidney infection. It was a terrifying experience – but we were lucky. “She survived; 48,000 families across the UK aren’t as fortunate. That’s why I’ve teamed up with the UK Sepsis Trust to get lifesaving information in front of as many people as possible.”
