The draw for the First Round of the Scottish Gas Men’s Scottish Cup took place on Sunday evening, with 2016 victor Dylan McGeouch making the draw alongside host Gordon Duncan.

The former Scotland international lifted the cup with Hibernian in 2016 as they defeated Rangers 3-2 in a memorable final.

He completed the mammoth Round One Draw, which involved 60 balls, producing 30 ties.

The First Round sees the sides advancing from the second preliminary round joined by the Highland League and Lowland League teams.

The ties will be played on the weekend of Saturday, 27 September.

The two highest ranking sides in the competition at this stage are Lowland League leaders Linlithgow Rose and Highland League pacesetters Brora Rangers and both sides were awarded home ties, against Gala Fairydean
