Fall like weekend

What a great holiday weekend of weather, aside from Friday evening’s showers and storms. We’ll keep that wonderful stretch going for the holiday with mainly sunny skies and highs near 80º.

This morning, areas along Highway 34 may see more cloud cover due to a few nearby showers.

A strong cold front is set to arrive Wednesday. While models show some modest timing differences, they all agree rain will accompany the front, followed by a much cooler air mass.

Highs will only reach the 60s on Thursday afternoon, and another front will move through Friday morning. That system brings a minor chance for rain along with continued fall-like air, keeping highs in the 60s and 70s.
