Following Week 2 of high school fall sports in Western North Carolina, it's time to vote for this week's Ingles Western North Carolina girls Athlete of the Week.

Cherokee swept last week's polls, with senior runner Dvdaya Swimmer taking the girls poll and sophomore quarterback Dawson Panther winning the boys poll.

Vote for the girls athlete who had the best performance last week . The poll closes on Thursday at noon.

Caroline Simpson, Asheville Christian Academy: Simpson recorded five service aces, five digs and 14 assists in a sweep over Spartanburg Christian on Aug. 26. She also tallied 15 kills and 12 digs in a 3-1 win vs. Polk County on Aug. 27.

Rosalie Sharp, Asheville High: Sharp recorded 24 kills, 23 digs and eight assists to lead the Cougars to a 3-1 win over McDowell.
