My Chemical Romance ’s current North American stadium tour continues to deliver: at Saturday night’s Chicago date, the emo legends brought out one of their heroes, Billy Corgan .

The Smashing Pumpkins frontman joined MCR for the final song of their epic setlist at Soldier Field on August 30 for a cover of Bullet With Butterfly Wings. Billy himself posted afterwards that it was, “Great fun! And fantastic gig by the boys. Just killed it in front of a massive Chicago crowd.”

My Chem bassist Mikey Way also enthused: “Wow! I’m still recovering from my dream of sharing the stage with my hero coming true last night.
