Omaha's Weather Leader has deemed Monday as an impact weather day with a chance for scattered showers and storms. No severe thunderstorms are expected, but locally heavy rain is producing flooding concerns for eastern Nebraska. Expect highs to remain in the upper 60s.

The Weather Prediction Center has placed marginal risk for heavy rainfall and localized flooding for eastern Nebraska and western Iowa on Monday.

A flood watch has been issued for Butler, Seward, Saline, Lancaster and Saunders Counties in Nebraska until 10:00 a.m. Monday for the potential of heavy rain and flash flooding.
