CINCINNATI (WXIX) - The idea started because Cincinnati Bengals head coach Zac Taylor wanted to tease one of his best friends.
For the Bengals’ game against the Tennessee Titans, who are coached by former Bengals offensive coordinator Brian Callahan, Taylor came up with the plan to send Joe Burrow, Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins out for the coin toss. Taylor said that he wanted Callahan to look out onto midfield, see the three superstars and “kind of get a pit in his stomach.” Aside from the Bengals’ head coach, no one on the planet has a better understanding of how good Burrow, Chase and Higgins are together than Callahan.
