Manchester United women players forced to pay for own flights coming home from Champions League clash
Marc Skinner and his Manchester United players celebrate after beating Hammarby
Manchester United Women players paid for their own flights back from Sweden after the club failed to book a direct return from the club’s Champions League qualifying game.
Marc Skinner’s side were due to return home on Sunday following their win over Hammarby in Stockholm, but the club had booked a flight which included a stopover, meaning players would not arrive into Manchester until 10pm.
