Luke Donald has revealed who he has selected for his captain's picks ahead of Europe facing the United States in the 2025 Ryder Cup .

Last week, his US counterpart Keegan Bradley announced , omitting himself when he had put himself into contention to be the first playing captain since the 1960s.

Veteran Englishman Donald was never in such a position and there were few surprises as he confirmed his picks for the event at Bethpage Black later this month.

Former Open champion Shane Lowry was revealed to be the first selection, followed by ex-world number one Jon Rahm.
