ARKADELPHIA, Ark. — Update: He has now been located.

The Arkadelphia Police Department is seeking the public’s help in locating a missing child.

The 5-year-old was last seen around 4:00 a.m. in the 400 block of North 14th Street. He is believed to be wearing a gray t-shirt and a pull-up diaper.

He is autistic and non-verbal. He is usually drawn to playgrounds, wooded areas, and water sources, and responds positively to the cartoon character "Boss Baby."

Officials are asking residents to check their backyards, storage buildings, parked vehicles, and any other spots a small child might hide.

Those with home surveillance systems like Ring or Nest have been urged to check their footage from the early morning hours in case he was sighted.
