Free-agent Irish international Cyrus Christie (32) joins League One side Bolton Wanderers

Ireland international Cyrus Christie is back in football after a spell without a club, as he has signed for League One side Bolton Wanderers.

The 32-year-old was a free agent since his exit from Swansea City at the end of last season but maintained that he was not in a hurry to sign for a club, and after a spell on trial, he's agreed a one-year deal with Bolton, with their Donegal-born Sporting Director, Fergal Harkin, a key player in getting the deal over the line.
