Crash occurred on Sunday night, Alberta RCMP say

Canmore RCMP responded to a multi-vehicle collision in the westbound lanes of the Trans-Canada Highway near Highway 1A on Sunday evening.

The collision prompted road closures and delays as police diverted traffic and worked to clear the scene.

Westbound drivers were detoured and faced significant delays, with RCMP advising they would remain on site for several hours.

By 9 p.m., RCMP said the scene had been cleared and normal traffic flow had resumed along Highway 1.
