HENDERSON COUNTY, Texas — Video shared by Henderson County Sheriff's Office shows the moment deputies encountered a kangaroo on the loose in East Texas.

You read that right— a loose kangaroo was captured by deputies at 3:30 a.m Saturday morning. According to HCSO, the animal escaped from her handlers in Athens.

Deputies were able to wrangle her in and returned to her rightful owner. They shared the video on Facebook , which can be found below.
