AI-driven productivity gains are helping some Canadian firms shift to, and reinforce, a reduced workweek

Roger Kirkness and his 13 employees had been experimenting with artificial intelligence tools such as OpenAI Inc. ’s ChatGPT and Anthropic PBC’s Claude Code for several months when the chief executive of Toronto-headquartered Convictional Inc., which builds organizational tools for business leaders, made a pair of observations earlier this year.
