Colorado Springs police arrested a 44-year-old man early Monday in connection with a disturbance involving a gun.

Officers responded just before 2 a.m. to the 3700 block of Drennan Road on the city's southeast side after someone fired a gun in a parking lot, according to an online blotter entry.

Police arrested a suspect, Andrew Presland, during a high-risk traffic stop after they say he tried to flee the area.

Officers booked Presland into the El Paso County jail on suspicion of menacing, unlawful discharge, obstructing a peace officer and resisting arrest, according to the blotter entry.
