Reno and Lake Tahoe are set for a warm, sunny Labor Day before storm chances return later this week.
The National Weather Service in Reno says highs will reach the mid-90s in Reno on Monday — about 5 degrees above average for early September — with mostly clear skies. At Lake Tahoe, highs will be in the mid-80s, also warmer than usual for the holiday.
Patchy smoke from the Garnet Fire in California could drift into the region at times, but most of the holiday will be clear.
