ATTLEBORO, Mass. (WPRI) — Police are investigating after a driver crashed into a utility pole in Attleboro on Saturday.
Officials said the car veered off the road, hit a fence and collided with the pole around 2:40 p.m. near the intersection of North Avenue and Deanville Road.
The driver, a 67-year-old woman, was treated for her injuries before being taken to Rhode Island Hospital.
Photos from the Attleboro Fire Department show the fence splintered and the vehicle with heavy front-end damage. National Grid crews responded to the scene, but no repairs were needed, and power in the area was not affected.
