WESTLAKE DISTRICT, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Los Angeles police are investigating a possible drowning at MacArthur Park Lake in Westlake on Monday.

Police were called out to investigate the possible drowning around 11:30 a.m. after an unresponsive man was found in the water.

The victim is a 35-year-old man, police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The man's name was not immediately released.

A small section of the park has been closed off.
