There's no break from the temperatures in Southern California this Labor Day. And with many areas expected to reach triple-digit highs on Monday, fire officials are also concerned about the possibility of wildfires.
A heat advisory has been issued through 6 p.m. Tuesday for parts of Los Angeles County, including Downtown and both the San Fernando and San Gabriel Valleys.
Daytime temperatures are expected to reach between 96 and 107 degrees with warm conditions continuing overnight, the National Weather Service (NWS) stated.
Heat advisories are also in place for areas of Orange, Riverside and San Bernardino Counties for temperatures exceeding 100 degrees through Tuesday.
