BATAVIA - A Workers Over Billionaires Labor Day rally took place today with a crowd on Main Street in front of City Hall and a few more on the opposite side of the street. It was part of a national protest, said local organizer Sarah Wolcott.

"It doesn't make more sense that 1% of the country makes more money and holds onto more money and holds onto most of the wealth of the country," Wolcott said. "All these people are here in demonstration against that."
