SOUTH GATE, Calif. (KABC) -- An LAPD vehicle smashed into a restaurant in South Gate at the end of a chase over the weekend.
The incident unfolded around 7:15 a.m. Sunday as officers were chasing burglary suspects, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
At some point, officers back off the pursuit. That's when the LAPD cruiser crashed into another vehicle and slammed into Bobo's Hamburgers at Firestone Boulevard and Santa Fe Avenue.
No injuries were reported.
The alleged burglars got away, but police later confirmed a woman was taken into custody on suspicion of grand theft auto.
