LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Nebraska received all 61 first-place votes in the newest AVCA Coaches Poll, which was released on Monday. The Huskers sit atop the poll with a 4-0 record with three wins over Top 10 opponents. Their victories include a thrilling reverse sweep against Kentucky, in which the Big Red rallied past the Wildcats on Sunday in Nashville.

Nebraska was ranked #1 in the AVCA Preseason Poll, but only had a small margin ahead of Penn State.

Nebraska returns to action on Friday against Wright State. The match will be the Huskers’ first of the season inside the Devaney Center.
