On tonight’s episode of WWE Monday Night Raw in Paris, France, announcer Michael Cole provided a medical update on Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman following the events of the Clash in Paris Premium Live Event. Cole announced that due to the severity of a post-match assault, Reigns has suffered multiple fractured ribs and will be out of action indefinitely.
The on-screen injuries are the direct result of the conclusion of the Clash in Paris event. After Reigns defeated Bronson Reed, he was the victim of a sustained, two-on-one attack by Reed and his Vision stablemate, Bron Breakker. The assault saw Breakker spear Reigns through the commentary table and again in the entranceway, and Reed deliver three of his Tsunami splashes, two of which occurred after Reigns was already strapped to a stretch
