While at Venice Film Festival, Jacob Elordi was hit with criticism over a short ‘super rude’ exchange but fans have rallied around him.

The Euphoria star, 28, was on the red carpet at the world premiere of his upcoming film Frankenstein, greeting fans on Saturday.

As he tried to sign autographs and take selfies, he seemed to clash with a nearby man who has been described as a bodyguard.

‘Hey, go away,’ he said to the man who walked over to the star, who had already got a fan’s phone in his hand to take a selfie.

After a little back and forth, Jacob sternly insisted he was ‘going to take a picture right here’ then added: ‘Don’t tell me what to do.’
