Monday marks the fifth day of a strike involving hundreds of United Auto Workers employees at GE Aerospace facilities in Evendale and Erlanger.
The two sides remain divided over key issues such as health care costs, job security and the company's handling of record profits.

In a statement on its website, GE Aerospace says it presented a "record offer" to the UAW bargaining committee the evening before the strike began , on Aug. 27.
"We explained to the committee that this was our best offer and that we did not contemplate any additional large moves," the company says on its website. "While the union could have asked the unit to vote on our offer, to our knowledge it has not.
