ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A Greece woman has been charged after state police said she used a fake ID to try to enter Upstate Correctional Facility in the town of Malone.
New York State Police said 19-year-old Omariana Curry was charged with possession of a forged instrument in the second degree, two counts of criminal impersonation in the second degree, and criminal trespass. She was arrested Saturday.
That morning, troopers said Curry used a fake ID to try to enter the prison. Investigators said Curry also provided a fake name and ID that was not hers. This incident now prohibits Curry from entering the facility "due to a prior incident at another prison."
Curry was taken for processing and was released after being arraigned in town court.
