Tonight, it is partly cloudy and muggy with a few showers as a trough moves into Alabama from the north. Lows will be in the lower to mid-60s.

On Tuesday, northwest flow aloft will be in place, and an upper-level wave will cross the state from the west, triggering scattered showers and storms. Watch for downpours. It will be warm and humid, with highs in the mid-80s. A line of storms (MCS) could move into northern Alabama on Tuesday night with heavy rain. Lows will be in the upper 60s.

Another wave passes through the state on Wednesday, bringing more scattered showers and storms. A few storms could be strong with gusty winds. High temperatures will again be in the mid-80s.
