A male victim was airlifted to the hospital Monday after he was reportedly bitten by a shark off Key Largo, officials said.
The incident happened at around 3:34 p.m. on the oceanside, Monroe County Sheriff's Officials said in a Facebook post.
The victim, a juvenile male, was airlifted to Jackson Memorial Hospital. Details of his condition were unknown.
The U.S. Coast Guard and the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission were notified of the incident.
