If you've not been inclined to play "World of Tanks" before, its first spinoff since 2014's "World of Tanks Blitz" might add what you've been missing.

Announced during Gamescom on August 19th, "World of Tanks: HEAT" is a free-to-play 10v10 tactical shooter upping the pace, ditching the realism, and introducing powerful heroes.

And that's exactly what players want.

At least, that's what trends suggest. "World of Tanks: HEAT" is pitched as a more immediate experience, one that comes as games are scrambling to keep increasingly attention-torn players engaged.
