There is a chance the northern lights could be visible from Northeast Ohio Monday night. A coronal mass ejection erupted from the sun on Saturday and is expected to impact Earth on Monday through Monday night. This has prompted a strong geomagnetic storm watch to be issued. If the geomagnetic storm is as strong as forecasted, the northern lights may be visible farther south than usual. Right now, it looks like the best time to look for the northern lights will be between 2 a.m. and 5 a.m.
