STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — A series of robberies, were reported across Staten Island during the week of August 18 through 24, according to NYPD data.

Despite the recent incidents, robberies in the borough are down 4% compared to the same period in 2024 (195 vs. 202), according to the NYPD’s latest CompStat figures.

Here’s a look at the reported incidents:

On August 19 at 2 p.m., a home invasion was reported near Plattsburg Street and Garretson Avenue in Dongan Hills.

Later that night, at 10 p.m., a robbery at a dwelling occurred near Davidson Street and Andros Avenue in Mariners Harbor.

On August 21 at 6 p.m., a shoplifting incident began near Wright and Canal streets in Stapleton.

On August 22 at 5 p.m., another home invasion was reported near Eaton Place and John Street in Elm Park.
