Pink has revealed details about a recent health setback. The Get the Party Started singer shared a few of the coping mechanisms she employed as she dealt with an unexpected illness during a summer getaway. "When you go on vacation and have food and E. coli decides to move into your gut you kill it with friends and daughters and red wine," the singer wrote in a message shared to her Instagram. "And a vitamin IV concoction." Pink had previously posted a snap of herself hooked up to an IV drip, sparking concern from fans. The Grammy winner, who shares two children with husband Carey Hart, added, "This is all normal and everything is going really well." Despite the setback, Pink, real name Alecia Beth Moore, chose to look on the bright side of her ailment. "Ahhh life and lemons and lemonade," she captioned the post, "and great memories that I might remember." Escherichia coli (E. coli) is described as a group of bacteria that can infect the gut, urinary tract and other areas of the body, according to the Cleveland Clinic. While it can often live in the gut without issue, it can occasionally lead to diarrhea, vomiting, stomach cramps and fever.
