ANKENY, Iowa —
Fire crews are on the scene at Southwest Olde Ivy Circle in Ankeny on Monday afternoon.
Smoke could be seen coming from the home when KCCI arrived.
According to Ankeny Deputy Fire Chief Dan Schellhase, the fire department was dispatched at about 4:15 p.m. for a "well involved fire."
Schellhase said at least two or three townhomes were impacted by fire and smoke damage. Two firefighters received minor injuries with burns on hands or wrists, but no other injuries were reported.
Schellhase said they are not sure who reported the fire or how it started, or if anyone was home at the time.
Fire departments from Johnston, Grimes, Polk City and Bondurant also responded.
