CORYDON, Ind. — On Monday, some southern Indiana residents made their way to the Corydon Town Square to get their messages of activism heard.

The Raging Grannies, a group of singing activists, spent their Labor Day holiday in harmony, but have a serious message.

“What unions do is promote speaking up for the weak and maintaining a safe and healthy workplace," said one singer.

Lining the streets of Corydon, Ind., demonstrators held signs protesting actions taken by the current administration.

Some signs highlighted labor in the United States.

"It’s a fight because Trump and this administration destroyed federal unions, who’s to say they’re not going to come after other unions?" protestor Laura Rich said.
