New Hampshire State Police has released more information about a holiday weekend crash involving former New York City Mayor Rudolph “Rudy” Giuliani.

State Police has confirmed that before the crash on I-93 northbound, Giuliani and his driver — Theodore Goodman — had been traveling on I-93 southbound when they were flagged down by a woman on the side of the road in Manchester.

The woman told them that she had been involved in a domestic violence incident.

Goodman initially reported the incident to police just after 9 p.m. on Saturday, and he and Giuliani remained at the scene until troopers arrived to investigate.

Goodman and Giuliani spoke with the troopers about what they had witnessed, and then they left the scene before getting off the highway at a nearby exit.
