Austin Prock became a back-to-back U.S. Nationals champion in Funny Car on Monday at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park, beating John Force Racing teammate Jack Beckman in the finals.

Prock, a native of Pittsboro, beat Beckman with a run of 3.093 seconds at 332.92 mph. The win was his seventh of the season in the NHRA Mission Drag Racing Series and secured $330,000 after winning the Nationals, the Funny Car regular season champion and the All-Star Callout winner.
