AIKEN, S.C. (WJBF) — This Labor Day, some Aiken neighbors are using their holiday to push for change. They're part of a nationwide effort called Workers Over Billionaires.

At O'Dell Weeks in Aiken, supporters lined the street with signs—simple words, heavy with meaning. For Anthony Espinoza, they hit close to home. His husband was detained by ICE earlier this year. "It's very hard. We're both having to deal with a lot of mental health issues and financial stability issues right now. But we love each other." he said.

They married at the facility, surrounded by bureaucracy instead of family. "I want my husband to come home. They shouldn't even be removing him. He might have made one mistake, but that should not determine his future here."
