LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – After years in the making, it is rivalry week for Arkansas and Arkansas State. Preparations began Monday with the painting of the Razorback logo at midfield.
War Memorial Stadium manager John Latch said his team has been preparing for weeks, as the programs are set to play their historic in-state rivalry game for the first time.
"We can feel it," Latch said. "It's definitely different for sure - the back-and-forth between Red Wolves and Hogs."
He predicts this will be the first sellout at War Memorial Stadium in years, with 54,120 fans expected inside and thousands more tailgating outside.
To accommodate the crowd, stadium staff are adjusting.
"We'll have more weapon detectors this year," Latch said. "We'll have more ticket scanners this year. So, we're just doing
