MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- The woman accused of killing a Memphis pastor in March at a bar downtown was indicted for second-degree murder last week, according to court documents.
Samantha Marion, 42, was originally charged with Voluntary Manslaughter in the fatal shooting of Pastor Ricky Floyd from Pursuit of God Church in Frayser in March.
On August 26, Marion was indicted by a Grand Jury for second-degree murder, the employment of a firearm with intent to commit a felony, and reckless endangerment-deadly weapon.
Samantha Marion faced a preliminary hearing in June on a charge of voluntary manslaughter in the fatal March 12 shooting. Marion posted bond back in April.
The case was sent to a grand jury after a judge said Marion will remain out on a $100,000 bond.
